Sausage and Pepper Pizza

Ingredients
Pizza Dough
12 ounces sweet Italian sausage, crumbled
15 oz Tuttorosso Crushed Tomatoes with Basil
dried oregano, to taste
8 oz shredded Cheddar cheese (or cheese of choice)
1 green bell pepper, diced
Directions
- Preheat oven using the directions on the pizza dough package.
- Cook the sausage and set it aside.
- Roll out the pizza dough into your desired shape and add it to a pizza stone or a parchment paper-lined sheet pan.
- Slowly add the Tuttorosso Classic Crushed Tomatoes with Basil on top of your dough. Use enough sauce to create an even layer.
- Add oregano and garlic powder on top of the crushed tomatoes. Add one layer of cheese, followed by a layer of crumbled sausage and diced green peppers.
- Bake until golden brown on top and the dough has a nice golden color on the bottom, about 20 minutes.
